Linn County Basketball Tournament Schedule


Fall Sports Awards Banquet will be Monday, December 2 at 6:30 in the High School Cafeteria. It is pot-luck Freshman and Juniors bring a dessert, Sophomores and Seniors bring a dish.

The Middle School Girls' Basketball game that was postponed last week has been rescheduled for December 3.

Tonight’s high school basketball parent meetings will be in the vocal music and band rooms downstairs.

Prairie View USD 362 is hiring a full time school bus driver. Driver would be guaranteed 4 hours per day with extra hours occasionally. Starting pay is $17.12 per hr, depending on experience, along with paid sick and personal leave. Applicant would preferably have a current CDL with P and S endorsements, but paid training will be provided to those that don't. Applicant must have a clean background check and motor vehicle report, and be able to pass a drug screen. Child ride along is acceptable. Excellent opportunity for parents of young children or retirees looking for a little extra income. If interested, please call Phil at 913-757-2059.

Congratulations to Evan Ballinger, Tabitha Lane, and Delaney Webber for making the KMEA District Honor Choir.

There will be a boys' and girls' high school basketball parent meeting on Thursday, November 14 at 6:00 PM. Practice will begin on November 18. a

Next week is Buffer Week. No high school winter sports athlete is allowed in a school gym outside of class from November 11 through November 17.

In honor of Veteran's Day, on November 11 Prairie View Middle School would like to invite all military veterans to our girls' basketball game free of charge.

Because tomorrow’s football game is a KSHSAA playoff game, the state required admission prices are $7 for adults and $5 for students. Also, Pioneer League and USD 362 passes cannot be accepted.
