Mrs. Konda was nominated for her unwavering encouragement and positive influence on both students and staff. She builds meaningful relationships with her students and has made a lasting impact on our school culture. From the music she plays each morning as students arrive to the welcoming and uplifting environment she creates, Mrs. Konda goes above and beyond to make Prairie View a place where students feel connected, supported, and excited to learn.

Mrs. Pope was nominated for her dedication to her students, strong leadership, and positive impact on those around her. Her organized and supportive classroom environment encourages students to stay motivated, set goals, and recognize that even small steps lead to progress. Mrs. Pope takes the time to build meaningful relationships with each student, ensuring they feel understood, valued, and supported. As a calm, dependable leader, she is someone students and colleagues alike can count on for guidance, encouragement, and support.

Parker Elementary will host its annual "Halloween Trunk or Treat" celebration on Friday, October 30, 2026. There will be a morning session for morning preschoolers at 10:45am and an afternoon session for all other students at 2pm. Classroom parties will follow the afternoon session. If you would like to donate unopened, store-bought bags of candy, please send it with your student and he or she can drop it in our monster's mouth. We hope to see you all there!

Our next stop is Prairie View High School, where students recently had the opportunity to explore all the ways they can get involved at PVHS!
During the Club & Activity Fair, students learned about the many clubs, organizations, and activities available to them such as Chess Club, FCCLA, FBLA, StuCo, Art Club, and several others. From discovering a new interest to finding ways to connect with others, the fair gave students a chance to see just how many opportunities there are to get involved and be part of the PVHS community.
High school is about more than what happens in the classroom, and we love seeing our Buffalos find ways to connect, participate, and make the most of their time at PV! 💚🖤

The annual "See You at the Pole" prayer event will take place at 8am at the west (main) entrance of Parker Elementary at 8am on Wednesday, September 23rd. We hope to see you there. It will last only about 20 minutes.

As families make plans throughout the school year, we encourage you to use our Vacation Planner to take advantage of scheduled breaks and days when school is not in session whenever possible.
We understand that illnesses, appointments, and unexpected circumstances happen. When possible, planning vacations and other activities around scheduled days off helps minimize missed instructional time.
