Tomorrow, Thursday May 21 will be the last day for food service for the school year. This was our planned last day of school. We have coordinated with the La Cygne library to ensure that meals are still available to our students.
Tomorrow students will receive enough meals to cover until next Tuesday. Starting Tuesday, May 26th the LaCygne library will be doing grab and go meals. All meals handed out tomorrow will have information sheets regarding summer meals. Please check your email for more information.
We are so thankful for the food service, transportation and all the employees that came in to make sure our students got meals on a consistent basis. We are are also thankful for our parents and students that came and got meals each week.
We hope that all our families are well and ready for summer!

Beginning this week,we will change meal pickup and delivery schedule. This week, meal pickup and delivery will be available only on Monday 4/13, Tuesday 4/14, and Thursday 4/16. Next week, meal pickup and delivery will only be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays thru May 21st. Meals will still be provided for the entire week. Thank you for your understanding.

Thank you so much for your patience as we got meal services going. We have been serving over 1000 meals each day. Friday, April 10th is a holiday- so we will not deliver meals on Friday. We will deliver double the meals on Thursday so there will be no interruption in meals.

Middle school parents. New packets will be at the lunch delivery locations today. If your child is in need of one, you will just need to ask for one. If we run out, we will make more. This packet will have 3 weeks worth of work. When dropping off, make sure the work is labeled

Drop boxes have been placed at both elementary schools and at the middle school. Any student needing to turn assignments in can use any drop box location. Please label the item and we will get it to the correct location.

Middle school parents reminder. We will be available from 10-6 today to pick up your students locker belongings/Ipad. Please ring the door bell and we will bring the items to you. One family at a time please.

PVMS Students and Parents. If you do not have internet access, packets will be available at the lunch pickup points and lunch routes. We do not have exact numbers so if we run out at one location, we will have more on Tues. Just ask for one if needed.

Thank you all for your cooperation and patience as we undertake the meal service and delivery for our students. We have made a couple of adjustments so, please check your emails for details.
If you have questions call 913-757-2059. If no one answers, please leave a message.

Starting Wednesday, March 25th we will begin FREE meal service for all children ages 1-18 within the boundaries of USD 362 school district each week day. We will be providing lunch for the day of delivery along with breakfast for the following day.
We will have drive up service available from 11 am - NoonMonday- Friday at LaCygne Elementary and Parker Elementary. Meals will be served at the front of each building each day.
We will also provide drive up service at Longhorn restaurant from 10:20 am- 10:30 am, Linn Valley Clubhouse from 10:40 am- 11:00 am, Linn Valley Church from 11:05 am- 11:25 am, Centerville Feed Store from 10:30 am- 10:40 am, Fontana Post Office from 10:15 am- 10:30 am, Tanglewood Gate 2 from 10:10 am- 10:20 am, Tanglewood Gate 3 from 10:30 am- 10:40 am. Students that live in one of these towns or communities, will need to come to one of the drive thru spots each day to receive meals.
For students that normally ride a bus - we will be delivering meals along the normal bus routes. Bus drivers will be delivering meals by coming to your house, they will be in a school marked vehicle. At that time they will need to visually see each child in the house in order to provide meals for each child. Deliveries will take place between 10 am - 12:30 pm.
All children ages 1-18 are eligible for FREE meals every day, Monday-Friday, each week until the end of the normal school year, May 21st.
In order to receive the meals, we only need to visually see the child each and every day. We cannot, by law, give meals to adults or give extra meals for kids left at home. The children must be in the car or be seen by our delivery drivers.
If you live within the district and do not see a bus driver this week and would like to receive meals or need to make any changes to meal delivery, please call Phil Matthews at 913-757-2059.
Please be patient as we work through the next few days and work together to provide meals to all kids within our district. We are all working through new and uncharted waters right now, our kids are our number one priority.
Thanks for your flexibility.

Parents- please take just a moment to fill out the following survey- it is very important for us to help plan for our continuous learning plan for our district. We only need 1 survey per family. Thank you for your support!
