USD 362 Parents,
Today, is Wednesday, November 18, 2020. We just wanted to give you an update on the status of the COVID-19 numbers in the district. Currently we have 5 students that have tested positive at Prairie View Middle School/Prairie View High School. This affects 14 students for quarantine. In addition we have had two additional staff members that serve in supporting roles test positive at PVMS/PVHS. Some students from earlier quarantines could return to school because of changing requirements from the Linn County Health Department and that they were found to be wearing masks properly within six feet. Please encourage your students to practice social distancing (when possible) and proper mask wearing while at school.
We also have had one staff member in a supporting role test positive at Parker Elementary which placed 4 staff member on quarantine as a precaution.
As we continue through this surge of cases of COVID-19 please remain diligent in your safety measures.
