The Applied Business Technology class at Prairie View High School wants to help you with your technology needs. The students in this class, better known as the “Senior Executives,” have taken numerous computer courses and are knowledgeable in word processing, spreadsheet, database and desktop publishing.
Applied Business Technology is a vocational course that brings In-House Training to the classroom. Rather than going to businesses for training (On the Job Training), we provide our students with similar experiences without leaving school.
In-House Training require a minimum of 50% “live” production work from the community. In order to meet this state requirement, we must have your help. Businesses can provide us with computer-related work. There would be no cost other than “special” papers or color copies needed to complete the projects. In return, we ask that you evaluate the students on the final product.
What can we do for you?
1. Mass Mailing/Form Letters
2. Newsletters
3. Designing Forms
4. Business Cards
5. Flyers
6. Posters
7. Brochures
8. Computer-Generated Slide Presentations
9. Presentation Materials (handouts, overhead transparencies, etc.)
