Annette Viner is a native Kansan. She is a graduate of Ellinwood High School in Ellinwood, Kansas. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Azusa Pacific University. Her teaching career started in Palco, Kansas, a 1A school in Western Kansas, where she taught vocal and instrumental music k - 12. Since coming to Prairie View she has taught elementary general music from kindergarten to 6th grade and also 5th grade band. Mrs. Viner splits her day between two of the three Prairie View Elementary schools. Presently she teaches grades kindergarten through 5th grade at LaCygne every morning and kindergarten through 5th grade at Parker every afternoon. It is her goal to share her love of music with all her bright, enthusiastic students..
Outside the school setting she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. Some of her interests are singing all kinds of music, playing steel drums, drum & bugle corps, gardening, photography and reading.
