Mrs. Uphoff is currently teaching fourth grade. Previously at LaCygne, she has taught both third and fifth grades. She graduated from K-State with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. (Go Cats!!) Currently, Mrs. Uphoff is pursuing a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction at Emporia State.
Mrs. Uphoff is married to Mr. Uphoff (Brian) a first grade teacher at Fontana Elementary. They have two children, Kyra and Kimball. They live in the rural Fontana area where they spend free time working on their house. Mrs. Uphoff also enjoys creating all types of crafts with Kyra's assistance. She wishes she had more time for pottery, photography, and other types of art.
