Hello! My name is Mark R. Staab and I am the principal of both Fontana and Parker elementary schools. I am a Topeka native and earned my BEd at Washburn University after receiving a degree in Anthropology from the University of Kansas. I was lucky enough to teach 5th and 6th grades for seven years in both Auburn and Osage City before earning my MEd in Educational Administration in 2005. I became the Assistant Principal and Curriculum Coordinator for USD 389 in Eureka, KS. before joining the Prairie View team in 2007. I am excited to be here and look forward to continuing the tradition of academic excellence in USD 362.
My wife is a high school math teacher and we have three children ranging in age between 7 and 15 years old. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, music, and being with my friends and family. I am a firm believer in teaching respect and responsibility and value your child's education very, very highly.
