Mrs. Morrell Second Grade

Hello there...My name is Candace Morrell and this is my third year teaching second grade at Parker Elementary.  I received my elementary education degree from Pittsburg State University and plan on starting my masters degree this coming summer.  

My husband Keith and I live in Mound City, KS and have three children.  Our oldest son  Chandler is a sophomore, our one and only daughter Halle is in seventh grade, and our youngest son Blaine is in sixth grade.  Our children tend to keep us very busy going from one sports activity to the next, but I wouldn't have it any other way :)  

One of my goals as a teacher is to notice and respond to each students individual needs.  I struggled in school and continually felt that I wasn't as good as the others; I hope to help each and every student to discover their true potential.  I take pride in my students' accomplishments and love to watch their faces as the light bulb turns on!
