First Grade
During the month of October we read about a greedy bear who wouldn’t share, therefore we have been working on our sharing with others. We also read many stories about bats and spiders. Miss Kim has generously come to our room and prepared fun Halloween art projects to correlate with our reading.
In phonics we’ve finished up with our short vowel sounds and are moving along with long vowel sounds.
Math has been subtraction, subtraction, subtraction!
On Wacky Wednesday we did a science lesson with sound. The students had to use their sense of hearing to determine what I was shaking in the sound box. This was a lot of fun.
Here are the students with prefect behavior and didn’t loose any popsicle sticks- Cody, Levi, Delaney, Hunter and Adreann.
