Final Strategic Plan Meeting Slated

Patron input is sought

by Chris Kleidosty

October 14, 2008

Dr. Chris Christman, of Pittsburgh State University, will be hosting the last of a series of meetings on Monday, October 27, 6:30pm, at the middle school cafeteria.  Any stakeholder or patron of the district is invited to attend.

The Prairie View Board of Education enlisted the strategic planning services offered by Greenbush in September 2008.  Dr. Christman initially met with the board to develop district goals.  Following the goal making session, Dr. Christman met with a variety of groups ranging from students to employees to business leaders.  Dr. Christman has also acquired a variety of demographic and test data from our district and area to assist with future planning and decision making.

A final plan is slated to be proposed to the board of education at the November 2008 board meeting.  The strategic plan will be used to help make future decisions for the school district.
